This new home is beginning to take shape! Golden Home Builders has finished the roof and now wrapping the exterior in Tyvek. Tyvek works as a great moisture barrier between the sheathing and the siding as added moisture and wind protection.
Gary Irene’s attention to detail is shown in these photos. Most new homes you see being built will not wrap the garage with Tyvek because this is added cost and not required per code. Gary like to wrap the garage with Tyvek as well to give the extra moisture protection behind the siding as well as making it easier for homeowner to heat if they decide to insulate and heat their garage in the future.
